Subject says it all. :-( "Access denied!".

Same here. Ah well, I'm not on it anyway.
-
That's been missing for months.
-
Hum,
sounds like it would be easy to fix...
Er, just point the link to Red`s profile
-
@Punkie
I haven't looked at it for months, either. :-)
@Blob
:lol:
Post #4700. WEEE!
-
Yeah, I noticed that earlier this year too.
You can get the same info by going to Other Places/Members and then sorting users by number if posts.
I'm soon to desperately need a life :-(

Naah in the past maybe, I've been beaten out lately though :lol:

That doesn't take news postings, etc. in account.

True
But what else do you want? Sheesh, that's the last time I'll try and be helpful! ;-) :-)

The Top members list was supposed to have been removed from the system long ago due to the fact that it slowed down the entire system. Every time someone went into it, regardless of the cache settings, it executed a massive query which pretty much brought the entire server to it's knees for the 30 or so seconds it required to run. Apparently it was written with a much smaller site (and database) in mind.

Me -> :smack: <- Cyberus

@Wayne
Ok, that explains it. Thanks!

Well, as you so nicely put it a while ago...
You guys talk too damned much!

I'd have never imagined you were an Aphex Twin fan :-D

I was thinking the same thing. But then, assumption is mother off all {bleep}ups etc...

Oh yes, quite a major fan at that :-D
Ventolin's on my playlist a lot just now, so's the Richard D. James album, especially the two tracks near the start that have the Speccy loading samples :-D
-
Cool :-) I don't know of many metal fans who go in for AFX stuff... apart from myself (but I'm more your dino rock rather than metal).
I can remember wandering into a record shop in 1993 and trying out the selected ambient works 85-92 CD and was hooked :-)
-
What got me was the 'On' single.
All my mates used to take the piss, as we were all metallers back then. The only thing with Aphex Twin, is that I'm not *always* in the mood to listen to it.
Seen him live a couple of times, once (at Glastonbury) when there were three people in giant bunny costumes dancing on stage. Reminds me, either of you listen to Squarepusher? I kinda got into the Rephlex and Warp stuff through Aphex Twin (like so many other people I guess).
Saw Squarepusher back in '97, in Manchester at Sankeys (on a double bill with Chemical Brothers - Chemicals downstairs, Squarepusher upstairs) {bleep}ing brilliant!!!
-
The first Aphex song I heard was Ventolin. It took me a couple of listens to get used to, but I did initially like it :-)
After that I got Selected Ambient Works Vol II (you know the one - pictures instead of song titles ;-) ) since then I picked up everything I saw. It's just a pity I never got that many of his singles... or his AFX stuff... or his Polygon Windows stuff (except for Surfing on the Sine Waves)...

Nope, but I'll keep an eye out for them :-)

/me smacks everyone back towards the topic.
-
Sorry :-)
I was thinking that....

Sorry :-) Thinking about it, is there much of a topic left to go back to? You explained the problem, which seemingly would be the end of it :-)
