Clickety-click (http://www.gregdonner.org/workbench/os_versions.html)

The list on the right is an overview of all Amiga ROM versions.  :-P

Why not give him a link for a legal adf sites instead of trying to be a smartass?
I think this one is legal, as it has been posted here on amiga.org before: http://www.amiga.hu/amigos/ancientoys/archive.html (http://www.amiga.hu/amigos/ancientoys/archive.html)
Mods: feel free to remove the link if it is infact not legal.

For the orginal poster: Welcome to Amiga.org  :-)

@Thomas

Did you actually read his post instead of trying to be a smartass? ;-)

He asked for one click for all roms. He didn't ask for a site to download one legal game at a time.

He asked for one click for all roms. He didn't ask for a site to download one legal game at a time.

It sounded to me like he wanted a website where he could a find a big library of adf games, instead of searching around for a game here and there.
I might not have understood his post correctly, but i do atleast not try to make fun at the guy, like most previous posts did. He/she must feel very welcome here when they jump all over you when he/she made his/her first post.

It would be better not to reply at all if your intention is only to make fun at another persons expense.

Why not reply and say that you simply do not know of any such sites that he/she is asking for or that you do not understand the question.

@Thomas

IMO you are reading far too deep into this. Amiga.org has a strict no-piracy policy. I also didn't see anyone making fun of him, as his post was vague and open to interpertation.

It hasn't happened as much lately, but there used to be 2-3 post a week by new users looking for kickstart roms or pirate game archives. Before posting somewhere a user shold be aware of the TOS.

Posting guidlines (http://www.amiga.org/modules/sections/index.php?op=viewarticle&artid=6):

Do not post links or requests for warez.
Warez in our definition is illegal software up to and including "abandonware". The exception is if the person is KNOWN to have the legal right to distribute said software. This is not debatable.

What I, you, or anyone else may prsonally think about abandonware is irrelevant. The policy is the policy.

But there are/were legal sites like back2roots.org, and i also believe that this site i posted is also legal, as someone has posted it earlier on amiga.org claming it was legal and since no one modded it, i assumed it was indeed legal like back2roots. If it is infact not legal, then i have no problem with my post getting moderated.

I have witnessed this too, but i still think alot of these users was unaware of the fact that kickstart roms and so on is illegal. This user however didnt specifically ask for kickstart images or illegal sites. His post was as you said pretty vague though.
