DISCover

I know, you can get a TV out card and hook your PC up to your TV, so why bother, blah blah blah.

But still, this is interesting to me, the new DISCover technology that Aienware and Apex as well as other companies will be using. It is a DVD Player, that has a lite version of XP installed in it, and runs DIVX, DVD, VCD, SVCD, and PC games straight off a disc! Watch the videos here for a better understanding;

I understand this thing is going to be somewhat locked down, but I'm SURE there will have to be a way  to get AROS, Amthilon, or WinUAE running on this puppy! In whch case it would be VERY much like the old Amiga days, with plenty of games to boot.

 Yes, it can be expensive, yes you can get a TV out card, yes the Apex version has some sappy hardware choices, but hey, this is kool regardless of what your intellect and better judgment may tell you! :)

I want one!
