Hi gang.

This is a great site!

I'm new to Amiga.org, decided to sign up and wanted to introduce myself.

So hola.

Hopefully we'll have good Amiga conversations.  :-)

Thank you to all! :)

To: Spidey and others...

I was introduced to Amiga's in the late 80's by my best friend.  He had an Amiga 500 at the time and I had an IBM PC Clone with a green and block monitor, etc.  I could play games like Space Quest on it.

When I saw how powerfull and impressive a computer the Amiga 500 was, I talked to my parents about it, saved up enough money and split the purchase with them.  Ah the good old days.hehe

I was around 13/14 at the time.  Well about 2 years later my family moved to a different neighborhood and for some reason or another I didn't take my Amiga with me. :-? Don't ask, because I don't remember.

But recently I have gotten back into the scene strong.  I am messing around with AROS on my second computer, a Gateway tower PIII-450 and also running WinUAE and WinFELLOW on my custom-built P4 2.6ghz system.

Soon I will be investing some money in some classic Amiga systems.   One is an Amiga 4000 with a video toaster, a VCR, a camcorder, etc.  And definatley an A500.   I'll get these as soon as I get a house next year and set up the computer room.

My friend (the Amiga enlightener) and I are still best friends after all these years.  Even though he now lives in NH.  Throughout the years, we keep talking about the Amiga and how great a computer system it was and still is.  There is so much history behind the Amiga; the games, the demos, the programs.  It's not even funny. :-D

I guess i'm blabbing away so that's all i'll write for now.  :-P

Who else would like to share there experiences?  Or to put it a better way, what made you all faithfull Amigans? :-)
