Did Commodore make radios?

Does it have the chicken head on the brand?. Perhaps a different commodore or a model name?

They started with typewriters, went to calculators and then into computers.  Although Jack liked the Opal Commodore car name, he could not be the only one to use the name (Vanderbilt University has named their worthless sports teams the "Commodores").

It seems from a Google search that Commodore was also a Japanese radio manufacturer possibly named after Commodore Perry, the naval commander who "ordered Japan's rulers to drop their barriers and open the country to trade" -- http://www.economist.com/node/1907601
