Hmm, interesting. Smart thinking on their part to try and have some launch titles that show off the expanded capabilities, but damn, do we really need more SW games? Hasn't LucasArts already flooded the market?

So if it runs on Windows and OSX, is it just an SDL title then? Seems like it'd be more interesting and more impressive to have a NatAmi exclusive that really shows what the hardware can do...

The Windows, Mac, and Linux versions are using SDL.  It is being written as a demo for the NatAmi though.  The idea is that, since it is written using the 194x engine, it will be easy to develop 2D shoot-'em-up games with the engine.

Huh, okay. Be fun to see how this turns out.

Maybe someone could provide some alternate, non-Star Wars graphic assets? I'd even be willing to take a crack at it if nobody else is.
