Ju-Jitsu is fun, until your training partner plants a knee in your groin, then the fun ends, rather qiuckly!

Dude, she is a 5th degree black belt, she would choke you out in no time :P I like..

Pan camera to left please... :)

Oh and btw, I LOVED reading the comics dealing with the Death of Superman.

To bad the recent animated version of that tale cut out and changed so much. :/

The whole saga around the Death of Superman, Funeral For a Friend, Reign of the Supermen and The Return of Superman was one of the most memorable times in my comic reading life, and that issue where he battles Doomsday is iconic, every panel taking a full page until the big three page pullout where Clark slips away was perfectly laid out. I was a bit disappointed in the animated film cutting so much out, but I guess they had to dumb it down for the broader audience. The recent Young Justice series (which stars Superboy who I was dressed as in my pic) isn't too bad, although it's even more removed from the comic source.

Cammy is real, her name is Moya and I know her in real life and she's definitely a real Amiga user. She's standing beside me in that photo from the time when we both went to the comic convention, and we have worked together on several Amiga projects. She's a very nice person and a good friend, and I don't think she would like you throwing accusations like that around.

If someone was going to pay a girl cash to dress up and model with Amigas, I think they'd find someone a lot better looking and less weird than me (and preferably not deaf so she could speak in videos). I don't know why someone would make something like that up anyway, but if you want more proof I have a Flickr gallery with photos of myself, my Amigas and other stuff I like and do, and a YouTube channel with a few videos where I demonstrate some stuff on my Amiga and show the birds who visit me.

Or you can just come on IRC and chat to me and my friends who have known me for years, I hang out in all the main Amiga channels.

I was born completely deaf, without my hearing aids I can't hear anything at all.

WOW!  I never noticed the Hearing Aid until someone pointed it out.  I would have never guessed it in 1,000 years...

I have to second: I also did not notice the hearing aid at all :) Just in case that actually is somehow important to you. Funny, since I have an eye for details - btw, nice Stargate collection in the background ;) Oh, and you are indeed every Computergeeks dream.

Oh, oh, Pic of me... hm hm hm I never show my face, but I got a picture of me from a funny perspective when I was playing some MMO and the wifey got bored. She started to decorate me.. and my headset... even buying her Puzzle Quest 2 (see other screen) did not end the torture!

@TheMud:
While it is true that some martial arts are of almost no worth in real conflict situations, I must point out that - as you stated - being the bigger/chunkier/stronger one is also not a autowin situation. Me and my wife do MMA. She weights about 60% of me and is 30cm shorter. And she kicked my ass so hard last time that I'am still not done picking up the pieces :P So much for underestimating someone..

Still, I agree that if someone is trying Wing Tsun in a real fight, they are in for a beating :P

edit: on second thought, that would be quite strange, with you not being able to hear anything, hmmm..

Martialarts works in selfdefense, trust me. But Ju-Jitsu/grapping art, would be the art of choice rather than a striking system. Since ju-jitsu have various technics to pasifie the attacker rather than destroy him.

btw my ex wife and I used to do martial arts together, and size and strength does not always win, you got to account for the sucker punch or the lucky shot.

Anyway way off topic.
