Linking PPC shared libraries

Took Vincents advice there :-)
-/edit-

Its time for the midweek stupid question :-)

Hi all,

It seems the object format exported by vbcc-wos is compatible with that used by stormlink. I have managed to link stuff together before (mixed 68k/ppc executables).

This works even though the version of storm I have is only for 680x0 (I guess the linker is the same exe as for the ppc version). However, the results have not always been perfect (global data access can be especially dodgy sometimes).

So, heres the question. Can stormlink link a shared library from ppc code objects compiled in vbcc wos?

Has anybody got away with doing something like this, and if so, how successful was it?

Thanks...
