Redirect Bug MyFilestore???
« on: April 09, 2014, 09:44:51 PM »
Every so often when clicking on a thread from google, I get redirected to myfilestore.com (screenshot attached) This is a well known vbulletin exploit, and I do not believe it is malware on my pc, as my computer is running Arch Linux.

Amiga.org use to do it several months back then it stopped. But it's back, although I get the redirect and now and then scrambled ascii characters.

Doesn't matter what machine/browser I'm using.

Logins are flaky too, particularly at the root page. I suggest that you check all of the index.php and other php scripts within the folders on the server. It's likely to have been a JavaScript code injection that's edited some of the php files to include the redirect.

Script kiddies, eh?

Happening to me as well under OS X and MorphOS (so unlikely to be a browser/dns exploit at my end)

We were like that when AmiBay got hit last year. What was it in the end, was it a script exploit as I thought?

Same here just now. Particularly Google results that point to threads on amiga.org often jump to a myfilestore URL. When I go back, and try again, it won't happen so it's not possible to pinpoint the issue to anywhere in particular...

Sadly no, I have just accessed the main page and got the same dreaded redirection, then refreshed, and finally could arrive here.

Was especially bad a day or so ago, couldn't get to the main page. Had to wait an hour or so before it cleared. Is there a security hole somewhere that needs to be plugged?
