WTB: Working CIA chip for Amiga 500
« on: September 16, 2019, 02:51:04 PM »
The "Even" CIA chip in my beloved Amiga 500 recently died (probably a casualty of a failing power supply, which has since been replaced by a modern, more-reliable unit). As best I can tell from scouring various forum posts, I cannot use a CIA chip from a C64 (right?), which means I need an Amiga-specific replacement. If anyone has one to sell (preferably in the US to speed postage - I'm hoping to get my A500 working in time for a local retro-computing event in ~9 days) please let me know and we can hopefully work something out ASAP!

Thanks,

Huxley

I'm in the U.S. and have one.  I have no idea about the going rate though.  PM me and I'll see what i can do.
