Zune for Windows 7 phone rocks.... I'd go without music if I had to use that god awful piece of dung they call itunes.  I realize though we were talking of older hardware of which I have no idea.

Its bad enough on apple products but the real joy is using the Windows version.... hmm, let's cripple it so bad and make it real flaky to make OSX look better.... sad.

I'm taking some high-level CAD classes right now and when one guy asked if there was a Mac version the whole class of Engineers erupted in laughter. :)

I agree.  I palmed my iPhone off onto my wife and bought a Windows 7 phone instead.  Using Zune was a breath of fresh air compared to the pain of iTunes.

I never used Zune hardware, but the software is very user-friendly and functional.  Try and drag an AVI movie onto your iPhone using iTunes and then drag an AVI movie onto your Windows 7 phone using Zune...

Actually, I read somewhere that WinMo 6.5 outsold WindowsPhone 7 in the last quarter (though in fairness to MS, this is mostly due to enterprise that is very reluctant to buy new, unproven technology.)

Geof

That and Windows 7  phones need better advertising plus a few bug fixes.

My LG phone has the "end call" button right where my earlobe rests on the screen and I suspect it has disconnected several of my calls.  The rear speaker seems to have a life of its own at times and a few calls have insisted on using it and refuse to switch to "normal" mode and then I've had lots of incidences of calls refusing to end and I've had to switch the phone off and restart it.  I think enough time has now passed for LG/MS to push an update to the users to fix these issues.

@Darrin

I hope they help you but they have now changed direction and partnered with Nokia screwing all their current Windows Phone 7 partners in the process. Will your phone be updated? Who knows at this point. The current TV Ads in the USA are some of the worst I have ever seen.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.  I keep checking for updates, but I keep getting "My Phone is up-to-date" with software version 7.0.  :(
