AOS4 and Efika at BAC (Belgian Amiga Club)
« on: January 15, 2007, 03:04:36 PM »
Last week-end, AmigaOS4 final and the EFIKA were demonstrated at the monthly BAC (Belgian Amiga Club) meeting, behind some nice Amiga folks. Some Hyperion and Genesi guys came to Zwijndrecht to show "AmigaOS4 final" and the Efika motherboard in action !

Interesting news, the key AOS4 developer present received an Efika motherboard and "our compliments and a pledge from us to help them move from u-boot to our firmware" (quote from BBRV blog).

Personally i appreciate that OS4 dev could drop an eye and play with Efika ! Even if Hyperion wouldn't license any motherboard (SAM, Efika, ..) for OS4.

In France (mostly Pegasos users for historic reasons), the Pegasos dev Corto (Pointrider, Wow, last Songplayer..) use too A1/AOS4 apparently : he's code for all Amiga "sects" : classic, MorphOS, AOS4, etc... I love this guy !
