GCC 2.7.0 and libamiga.a
« on: May 08, 2004, 09:36:00 PM »
I'm trying to build libamiga.a from amiga.lib following the instructions in the GCC readme.  I have tried in 2 different OS 3.9 environments and every time the process crashes.

Step 1: hunk2gcc amiga.lib   (From the NDK3.9 archive)

This step works fine creatine about 1400 files.

Step2: ar qc libamiga.a obj.#?

This blows up every time.  Usually causing the amiga to reboot.  I've tried it under WinUAE/OS3.9 and my A1200/OS3.9.

All I want to do is create a current set of OS 3.9 libraries.  Anyone know how to do this?  Can someone send me the libraries?
