New user - some thoughts on first use

Amiga.org is looking good but seems quite sluggish on Voyager 2.96.7,
I think eBay has gotten more bloated too over the last year.

One thing I would like to improve is the update notification. When you
have a message in the inobx you have to:

1) Click inbox
2) Click the message
3) Click the link

Can't it just be a message in the mailbox that is a link itself and by
the side of it the name of the actual thread? It seems there is one
recursive link too much in this process.

Also, I can't upload pictures as I don't have a javascript enabled
browser. I think Amiga.org should accomodate for Amiga users of all
capacities and offer some sort of FTP upload or non-javascript
setting.

If Xoops doesn't allow this are we using the best system?

Tried IB 2.3? It seemed to work quite well on a.org.
