That pretty much means all development is concentrated on the Pegasos, which means support for the dual CPU cards would poor, or even non-existent. Am I right?

Ikir, if you buy a Pegasos then you probably won't ever be able to run OS4, even when it does finally come out. Just so you know.

Please don't flame me for this, it is just an observation but:

People keep on about the fact that OS4 is not available yet, but I can't buy MOS for my A1200PPC either.

MOS (at the moment) seems to only be available with the Pegasos, which seems to be in as short supply like the A1, and I assume the PPC'ed "Classics"; just as OS4 is only available to PPC "Classics" and the AmigaONE.

I suppose all I am saying is: is there any real difference between the two in terms of availability? Is one really better then the other? 8-)

You are correct MorphOS has been quite unavailable for many weeks now.

Supposedly the bundling with pegasos boards is a temporary measure to drive up sales.  But unfortunately, there are no boards for which sales can be driven up.

It will be a good thing when AOS4 is released, even if your in the MOS camp...I doubt it will make much sense to bundle only with a pegasos if you can buy aos for cyberstorm.

I wonder when the next MOS release is coming. 1.1 or whatever. I'll be fine with 1.0 though. Just don't like the fact that it's in kinda "beta state".

Something that would ne nice is if someone got some PCI 1200/500 custom chip bords made, so that one could run 68k games and demos in MOS.  :-D

I guess only the MOS development team knows.
If were lucky, maybe bbrv will fill us in on our questions.

I know Kenny, I know. :-(
I'll wait OS4....
I should buy a "old" ppc 603. I should run both OS4 and MorphOS.
But pagasos is already in stores?

I wish Elbox would release some more information about the release date of the various Shark models.  It would be really sweet if that thing would run both.  I plan on getting a pegasos for MOS, but my 1200T is dying for some PPC action (OS4 and/or MOS).

It's PokeMiga, gotta crash 'em all!

"Now pegasos are running the old morphos release? "

If one buys pegasos now, it looks like they are shipped with BETATESTER2 version of MorphOS.
http://www.morphos-news.de/comments.php?lg=en&nid=200

I think the question is "When will MorphOS ship." and I mean the 1.0 version.

Does anyone know what MorphOS version the MOS featurelist ei meant for? BT2 or 1.0 or what?

(featurelist is dated 12 Dec and the shipped BT2 is dated 13 Dec)

Anyway I'm buying both :)

Well, from what I saw on the list at morphos-news.de:

http://www.blachford.info/morphos/morphos-full-features-list.txt

seems to indicate that there may be a mixture.  The top portion may be for the current beta version, while towards the end I saw an "under development list."  Maybe one of the Morph guys can come on and give a definite answer?

Targhan

Hello ikir,

Yes, a new batch of Pegasos boards are shipped.
At least I got a confirmation from my dealer about this last friday.
But sometimes it's not the board that gives the delay!
I'm now waiting for my tower and memory to arrive!!
