There's this guy on eBay, who I won't mention thgough I don't think there would be a problem, but anyone that has been following Amiga on eBay probably knows. He's had PLENTY A4000's for sale through the years. Most of the newlike, through he doesn't mention they're new, so they probably had little use, or were very well taken care of, or he put them in the washing machine...
Anyway, I'm just curious as to how he has had all these A4000's, that's all...it just stroke me as odd.  Plenty! :-o

He probably just buys them from offices and studios (and individuals), refurbs them and then lists them for sale.  I originally had eight A4000's (all new btw) and have sold a few on eBay - I got them from a former Amiga retailer's warehouse where they sat for 8+ years.  I'm sure if some guy in Canada can find a lot of 4000's some guy in Germany (way more people way smaller area) can find more of them.  :-)
If I have military spec stuff listed on eBay, you can find it here  :-)

He's got some nice auctions (amimiro) however he's been refusing to open a PayPal account for ages now and thus makes it very inconvenient for overseas sales.

He had some nice auctions (maybe still does) for mint A2000 and A3000 systems with latest revision motherboards. I was interested in buying however, I'm not too keen to bother with wire money transfers. You pay those stupid service charges (I recall it was $25 CDN last time a used it)! PayPal or nothing! :-)

Good that I live on the right side of the salty pool.

Those prices over there are a "bit" high  :-o
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
