Post by: TjLaZer on September 01, 2006, 04:08:24 AM
...to get a cheap A1200 at a boot sale in Europe!

I just got a A1200, Blizzard 1230 IV 50MHz card (8MB), 80MB HD, Amiga 1084S and star printer for $20!!!!

Had to drive in Seattle rush hour traffic to get it though..  Was almost not worth the effort ;)

Seller also had a loaded A1000 system with get this:  A phoenix motherboard in it for $40!!!!  It was already spoken for by someone that is coming tomorrow to get it!  DoH!!!  Maybe it's FastRobPlus?? ;)

Dude!

Nice score!  I just went over to Craig's list and checked out the listing.  That 1000 looked way too nice to be sold for $40. The Genlock and Chroma key also make me wonder...Is this guy certifiable or just sick of his computers?

Again, very nice!

Bob

He was just tired of having it there and wanted it gone.  I told him the Phoenix board was worth $200 easy, he said oh well.
