I would guess it is NOT GPL - only one person and no mention of any GPL.

It is not all Assembler:

kernal: 437 files of which 27 is assembler.

I assume that the rest is gcc as that is the developer suite supplied.

I have downloaded and will play with it and get back with my thoughts!

From a quick glance at it, it is far more advanced then AROS at this point.
