All i need is to:
Be able to code in amospro and read amos pd cd to use in amospro.
Save the programs to floppy. keep amospro in HD and be able to use in cd 32.

You may want to source the SX-1 before you even think about a CD32. I seen them go for $350 on ebay! SX32 with an 030/50 $700+
The SX1 is also pretty big and ugly
Also if you plan to do any CD32 gaming, I would consider a PAL unit. Most of the software it written for PAL and NTSC stuff works a lot better in PAL than the other way around. The CD32 can optionally run in 50 or 60 hz, but It can't change the frequency of the color signal, so typically, when running a different refresh rate, if you get any picture at all, it is void of color.
If you get a SX1 then this is not a big issue because you can use the RGB output.
NTSC units also came with the caps installed in backwards, and I don't think they are as reliable as the PAL, but the part about reliability is just my opinion. I may just be upset because I have had some NOS NTSC CD32s that turned out to be pretty unreliable.
