Hello all.

Hello all, newbie here, obviously!

My name is Bjørge. I am a 22 year old guy, was born in Norway but moved to the UK when I was young (parents emmigrated).

I've had Amiga computers since I was very young. The first I had was an Amiga 2000 (I think it was the earlier Revision A as it had red LEDs for the power and HDD activity lights as opposed to the later Green/Amber).
I remember it had a kickstart ROM switcher, holding a key when rebooting would change to the later kickstart rom so best of both worlds.

My dad got me an Amiga 1200 (desktop dynamite) when I was a little older, then he fitted a massive 85MB HDD (massive for the day... heee) and I loved tinkering with it. I still have the 1200 and I also have an A4000/EC 030.
My dad gave away my 2000 to a family member *damn him!!* but I intend to buy:

Amiga 1500
Amiga 2000 (ALL revisions)
Amiga 2500
Commodore CDTV

I prefer the 2000 though, first love haha.

I still have a NOS amiga 2000 keyboard! Surprisingly too my A4000 is in as new condition. I also have a dataflyer card for the A2000.

Nowadays I mainly use a PC which although great, is a boring thing in a way where as the Amiga just has a certain character about it.

I've come along way from having an 85MB HHD to 1TB now. But Windows Vista is not that great, too Microsofty :P

I want to make it look exactly like Workbench 3.0

Hey all thanks for the warm welcome.
I have another addition to my wishlist I've just discovered, the Commodore 900. Not strictly an Amiga but nice to know the origin of the A2000!

Was set to have a 10mhz cpu, awesome!
