I was approached this morning regarding the movie new movie passion. This is the story of the final 12 hours of JC's life. Anyway, the guy I talked to said he is working with some guy who is organizing a global question and answer session after the movie ends... while the credits are rolling. Because of this fact, I will probably wait until the movie has been out for at least a month before I go see it. I don't want some sawed-off-bible-thumpin maniac trying to witness to me after watching this movie.
I'm sorry to say, but this is going to ruin the whole movie for me. This is almost as bad as going to "LOTR: Return of the King" and hearing applause before the credits roll. It's as bad as having someone putting their muddy feet on the top of your chair. I dare say even worse than an interpreter for Habeeb talking loud enough to hear two voice tracks for the whole movie.
What are your thoughts of something like this happening to you?

Well, they can't hold you there against your will, surely?

while i don't care about this film because the subject matter doesn't interest me, I'd punch anyone who assalted me.
:destroy: :whack:

Well, I don't expect The Passion to be very good anyway. The historical inaccuracies alone would be enough to put me off. That said, I wouldn't try to ruin the movie for anyone else by sitting at the back in the theatre and making farting noises every time I heard something I know to be religious and not factual. But that's exactly what the fundamentalists trying to put other people off the movie are trying to do. I'd get kicked out the theatre, they should get moved off the street.

Hmmmm?
I think I've missed something... :-?

If something doesn't interest me I'd ignore 'em to death.

And to be honest, where I live the only people who still believe in Christianity enough to heckle me for watching a movie might have to do it by rattling their zimmer frames in the movie theatre.

the description of a bunch of nuts keeping you in your chair while they force questions down your throat sounds like an assalt to me. or kidnapping, which is basically the same thing.

The question to ask "how are the americans going to re-write this one then?" :-D

I'd prefer a bunch of questions keeping me in my chair while they force nuts (dry roasted) down my throat.

One thing that is obvious is that no films about this period of history are going to be as entertaining or as historically accurate as "Life of Brian"

Although, they do have hot uniforms. Many nights I lie awake wondering how hard it would be to corrupt a nun... ;-)

Rent the movie that talks about religion: "Dogma". Totally kicks all arse what Loki does.

No joke, a friend of the family corrupted a nun and married her :-P
I don't think it's as bad as it sounds though, she left before she was corrupted, but he talked her into leaving .
They're divorced now (They had 3 kids together and were married for 20 years before his mental condition forced him to be commited), She always joked that he got her out of the 'habit. '
