Retro gaming
« on: September 21, 2009, 09:52:22 AM »
Hi,
Last thrusday, 17th of september 2009 , I've officially started my own company called: 2Quest Entertainment. This is an entertainment company that will entertain groups of people playing (own created) retro like computer games. Nice to know perhaps, all graphics are drawn on my Amiga using Imagine. (Not WinUAE, a real Amiga!!!) It has taken quite some rendering time so you could say that Amiga still isn't dead? :-)

Please have a look at my website and tell me what you think of it!

http://www.2quest.nl

The games can handle up to 16 players at the same time. The games are played on a huge screen that is beamed on a wall!

Greets!

Great job! How much time did it take to render that animation? Will you make some more games?

Hi,
The intro animation, the in between parts and the ending part are rendered in about 1 week. This seems quite long perhaps but I've configured Imagine to the best possible quality with anti-aliasing (and some other settings). The game animations are created during gameplay.

And yes, I will make more games ofcourse. Seeing a bunch of people play your games with laughter and joy is so much fun, I just want more games!!
