@Dammy

I have received an Amiga 500 and an Amiga 3000 for consignment sale. I will be testing and listing them on eBay, time permitting.

Excellent!  That's what I love about this community, it can come together and pitch in a helping hand to get things done. The current open bounties need more monies and I'm sure there will be more driver bounties coming after Bounty #3 is finished.  I just hope some of these activated bounties will be finished in time for the AmiGBG showing. =)

If wez gets this TCP/IP bounty done then AROS becomes a highly viable platform!!! :-o

My AROS box could be connect to my network... I could use it for stuff :-D

Between Network and when the FAT dirver gets done I could probably use AROS also.  Can't wait.

Anyone know if anything is happening on the ATA replacement for the IDE.device thing?  When AROS becomes somewhat useful it would be great to have fast (at least fater) drive I/O.

@Matt

I hope you get better :-)

@Matt&Dammy

BTW, I'm curious about the PCI implementation... did you make the pci.library compatible with Prometheus? If not... do you think that it would be hard to write a wrapper to use your new library with AmigaOS3.x and Prometheus?

I say that because it seems that OpenPCI author hasn't much time to fix the prometheus support and it would be nice to run more drivers in addition to gfx card and ethernet10...

Good question, I think the AROS PCI system is very AROS specific... But I could be wrong...

Maybe we could back port the whole AROS PCI system (which would probably need our OO system too) to Amiga OS... it's certainly worth asking.

Ya, saw that.  Can't wait.  Fat, Tcp/IP and NVidia.  Things are really starting to come together for AROS.  June/July is looking like it will be a very interesting time for AROS.
