Thought I'd toss out a plea for all the remaining Amiga webmasters and retailers to embrace the RSS 2.x or XML specs with your Web sites.
Despite how it seems, there's still a lot going on in this community. The problem that we (or more particularly I) face is that we no longer have the few hours a day it would take to scour the dozens of web sites out there for updated news items.
You, as an Amiga webmaster or retailer, shouldn't have to go out and post your news repeatedly to the different sites like this one, but if you could figure out a way to enable RSS/XML from your own sites, others like AO and AW could easily "pull" your news without you having to actually do any additional work.
This would work to your advantage, because you could post on your own site any time you had a sale or released a new update/product, and our respective sites would help you broadcast that news to the entire community automatically, and swiftly.
Alternatively, if you already do RSS/XML, please post it below so that we might add you to the system to automate the process.
