Create own Monitor File Devs/Monitors
« on: September 10, 2012, 04:49:50 PM »
How can I create an own Monitor File using in Devs/Monitors for OS 3.1+?
Got multiple Monitors here, some S-Video/RGB, 1084S, CM8833, Microvitek M1438S, Fujitsu 17" CRT VGA etc.

The 17" doesn't like anything higher than PAL/NTSC, got a Scandoubler on the Amiga for this monitor.
Technical it could handle 30-70 kHz hor., 50-120 Hz ver.
How to create a file for that mon?

I'm not sure if it's software or hardware related forum topic, so I posted in Hardware..

Regards
jc

EDIT: I don't use a GFX card, so Amiga ECS/AGA related only

You may want to look into making the mode file for ScreenMode to pick from; there is a guide on Amibay's site under "stickies" for P96 Resolutions in the AmiOracle forum
