Post by: dammy on January 09, 2008, 12:20:21 PM
Rob has given us a new update on Traveller (http://cataclysm.cx/2008/01/09/im-going-to-egypt-ill-bring-you-back-something-nice/#comments).

Rob is da bomb!

If Rob ports Cairo it would be an important step for porting Mozilla too.

The burden might get lighter as it was already ported over OS4...

@pixie

Unfortunately that port is based on SDL and isn't integrated with MUI/Reaction

That's really fast progress. This will be a big boost for AROS when it's done.

For those who would like to try (read alpha level) webkit (no, this is not Traveller, maybe in a month or so), go here (http://cataclysm.cx/2008/03/02/while-stocks-last/).
Donations can be made here (http://thenostromo.com/teamaros2/?number=49).

Great Work!  It's fantastic to see this project is moving along.  I've just donated £10 to the bounty.  Once there is a beta I'll do a native install and have a play!  :-D

Are we likely to see this ported to OS3.9 and OS4 when its complete?

I might be wrong, but didn't Manu take that AROS/WebKitLauncher/amiga.org screenshot ?  :-?
