My question for Bill would be:

What is the exact relation between Amiga and Microsoft ?

I gamble occasionally and don't mind picking a longshot. This is one longshot I would not pick, no matter what the line was.
Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

@red

Humorously, I think he'll be there somehow or another, but I also believe other people who've said that there will be process servers waiting on him to serve more legal papers.

Realizing that the Amiga community has not heard one single peep from McEwen for almost a solid year, it will be interesting to see if he does indeed show up and what he would POSSIBLY have to say...

At one time, I was thinking he'd show up to announce his "retirement" and the CEO changeover, but I can't possibly think of anything that Bill McEwen would have to say to the community that wasn't his usual "Things are rockin' -- by the way, I'm sorry for all the broken promises over the last 3 years, but really, it's not our fault...".

Maybe he'll show up with the t-shirts...  :-P :-P  You never know.

Again, I just hope he's not the only person slated to speak at the banquet and I wish the AmiWest crew would at least announce the speakers.  I won't buy a banquet ticket until I know who's going to be speaking.

If its one thing i dislike about the fornightly questions to fleecy its that most of them can be answerd by asking the a few people and by doing a little research. Im not totaly sure about this question but i'll have a shot.

MS market Amiga Anywhere games. MS much like what Amgia are to DE games developers MS is to Amiga.

Amiga helps developers have their content developed recognised on the AmigaDE platform and MS helps amiga have its content run and recognised on MS platforms. Because of this, Amiga gets a cut of the revenues and so does MS.

MS is simply putting some marketing muscle behind the AmigaDE titles to help their platform and to take a biut of the revenue.

The topic of the thread is questions for Mr McEwen, not questions for "virtually every Amiga-related company on the planet".
