Well for the first time in 25 months the Sam460 is avalable to buy. The price in USD is exactley the same as it has been for the last 25 months when they had nothing to sell. The price is NOT lower for the cr, not 1 penny lower. What is going on? Well after having emails from them over the past year. Not once was the information they provided me accurate, not once. Now the lower prices they have adviterised also is not accurate. I am glad I just bought an X1000. Can someone explain what is going on here? a few months ago on ebay there was a Sam 460ex and 26 people bid on it and it sold for allmost the same as A new one. There has been people willing to buy, but there were not selling anything despite advertising the product. I just don't get it. I would have bought one 2 years ago if they had the product at all. Sorry to sound pissed but how many more NG Amigas would be out there if they anything to sell. More people means more developers....etc

huh? when i go to acube's online ship, i see that the SAM460cr is cheaper than the SAM460ex. the 1.1GHz version is 60EUR cheaper and the 1GHz version is 80EUR cheaper. the SAM460cr 1GHz, including AOS4.1 FE is only 469EUR. that seems a darn sight cheaper than the original SAM460ex boards were.
am i missing something?

$814.00 USD for the motherbord and as of now its the same price as before. When Steve at amiwest anounced the cr he stated that they were to put up new prices that day. That was Oct 26th I have checked every day from then to now and the prices have not changed.

Sorry my mistake the Amigaone 1.1 ex was $1.147 and now the cr is $1,147 the same price

again, that's just not the case. the SAM460ex 1.1GHz (link (https://acube-systemsbiz.serversicuro.it/shop/en/sam-motherboards/10-sam460ex.html)) is indeed $814.64. but the SAM460cr 1.1GHz (link (https://acube-systemsbiz.serversicuro.it/shop/en/sam-motherboards/95-sam460ex.html)) is $733.04. see? the SAM460cr is cheaper; it is not the same price. they never said the SAM460ex would get cheaper. they announced a new, cost-reduced version, the SAM460cr -- and that is cheaper.
edit: ah, you meant the cost of the AmigaOne 500 hadn't gone down. that's true; it hasn't. but there are plenty of other SAM460cr complete systems they offer that are cheaper.

Dude, what are you even looking at? I went to the website and confirm the prices @eliyahu quoted. A quick google to convert EU to USD I'm coming up with
EX 1.10GHz, 599 EU = $732.52
CR 1.10GHz, 539 EU = $659.14
CR 1.0GHz, 469 EU = $573.54

I don't care one way or the other, just trying to help out. Maybe refresh your browser? Might be pulling old info from the cache?

when you click on USD $ on there site I dont see any of the prices you listed are correct. However the AmigaOne 500 cr is what I was looking to buy, not just a board and it's the same price it been for 25 months. The over riding point I was making is that 25 months of no products is a disapointment. Add to that every email I received over the last 13 months have all been wrong and that is just no way to run a bussiness. Would love to have had this for a year or more now.

When I look at that page I see 843.60 EUR for the AmigaOne 500. Google tells me that's $1031.81 USD. Funnily enough, I found the "show prices in $" link you mentioned, but it was grayed out. Wouldn't even let me click on it. Sounds like "someone" needs to fix their website for the North American market, lol. ;)

That would be a start for sure! That would be one more for the list if the price on there own site was more that they were selling it for
