« on: November 02, 2012, 01:14:50 AM »
Anyway, i'm surprised no one started a thread on this yet so i decided to.

So what's the deal with the new ipad mini? Has anyone bought one yet? Are they just an ipad with a smaller screen or is there something more i am not seeing?

Thinner and lighter desktops, plus meeting two already nearly-indistinguishable device categories halfway...we can mark down last Tuesday as the day that Apple finally, officially entered Unwitting Self-Parody Mode for good.
Computers: Amiga 1200, DEC VAXStation 4000/60, DEC MicroPDP-11/73
Synthesizers: Roland JX-10/MT-32/D-10, Oberheim Matrix-6, Yamaha DX7/FB-01, Korg MS-20 Mini, Ensoniq Mirage/SQ-80, Sequential Circuits Prophet-600, Hohner String Performer

I think the iPad mini is great.  Gives another option to someone who wants something larger than an iPod touch/iPhone and regular iPad.  I would of liked to see the price at $299 but $30 is not going to break the bank!

Roll on the Mini Max and Mini Minor.  The categories never end once the marketers take over.  When they quadrupled the processor speed and then stuck in a 4 times larger res screen to use up all the processor gains that made me go Hmmmm..
