New User Introductions / Re: Hi, I think my mid life crisis has started

South Lakes mate. Find Windermere and go directly south. I’m right on the coast of Morecambe Bay.

Grange? Cark? I lived in Barrow-in-Furness for several years before I moved up to Dumfries.

I'd say NWAG is probably your closest user group.

I'll keep you in mindif I ever get enough folk wanting to rent a small hall for a meeting

Are you planning to release a desktop version (Box) of V46 for the OrangePi or PiStorm cards?

Thats already been said, in the works. Obviously, anything that need ARM libraries, will not work.

Perhaps I've made some faux pas. I don't know. In any case, the range and number of responses surprised me :)
Seriously speaking, I use an AmigaOne 500 with OS 4.1 and a Mac Mini with MorphOs. However, OWB and even Wayfarer are very backward compared to AmiBrowser.
In general, I think we need to switch from PowerPC to ARM.
Finally, because not everyone knows, a good browser for OS 3.x called Amelinium is being developed; I must admit, it's Polish work!

You only posted yesterday.

Its planned, just not in developement as yet. We are working on A1200NG Accelerator at present and another project (cant say anything as yet). Then once those are sorted, A4000NG will happen. A1200NG accelerator is at the prototype / testing stage.

Really looking forward to this - it's a part of Amiga history that needs to be told properly :-)

Hi!  8)
I'm new here, so hello everyone!
I have a question: I'm thinking about buying an A600 GS, but I'd prefer to buy an A4000 NG. So, when can I expect this device to be available? Is there a pre-order? Can I sign up for this computer?
I think the Amibench idea is great....

Amiga User Group News / Next FCUG meeting - Sunday, May 17, 2026
« Last post by RobertB on May 13, 2026, 08:41:41 AM »
Happy May, C= and Ami aficionados!
The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to 2:30+ p.m., Sunday, May 17, at

  Panera Bread Restaurant
3590 W. Shaw Ave. (corner of W. Shaw Ave. and Marty Ave.)
  Fresno, CA 93711
  (559) 271-0104
  http://www.dickestel.com/meet_loc.htm

We’ll talk about the highs and lows of the Commodore Los Angeles Super Show which was held a few weekends ago.  And we will discuss ideas for the Seattle Pacific Commodore Expo NW to be held on June 20-21.  Also we’ll talk about the new TeensyROM+ for the C64/128 and the upcoming Commodore 64C from Commodore International.
Played at the last meeting, we take a look again at the Eric Blase VIC-20 game, Fisherman, and see if we can make it run as a .D64 (v.p. Roger, bring your SD2IEC and RAM expanders).  Then we continue with the second half of new C64 itch.io games, the half that we didn’t get to last time.  Speaking of new games, we try out Jupiter Fracture, a Lunar Lander-type game.  Once again, the A600GS returns with the latest game downloads from itch.io and from Amiga500archive.com , too.

       Truly,
       Robert Bernardo
