Description: This is an A2000 I recently acquired at a garage sale. I don't know anything about it, so any information you can give me would be great. I don't recognize any of this hardware, but I'm sure you all do.

AMC258 Posts:877 | February 15, 2008, 02:20:09 AM Not everyone limits themselves to a mere 7 SCSI peripherals. I have an A2000 with two A2091's, and a Flyer. It has a original IBM-PC case full of hard drives attached, and there are some that don't fit in either case too. My A3000 with the now dead built-in SCSI (thanks to OS4) is ALWAYS full. 3 CDROM's, a scanner, a ZIP drive, and two tape backup drives. All my hard drives are on the CSPPC. NO WAY am I going to plug that other kind of stuff into the CSPPC! |
rkauer Posts:3263 | October 15, 2007, 11:10:09 PM Maybe 'cause the GVP SCSI is broken? Maybe people are just too lazy to move the hd from A2091 to accelerator. You know, mess with hdtoolbox, risk of loose data... |
countzero Posts:1938 | February 27, 2007, 03:18:01 PM I really don't get why people insist in using zorro scsi cards when they have a scsi controller on their accelerator. |

patrik Posts:1287 | June 16, 2006, 05:01:04 PM You don't actually need the A2091 SCSI-controller as the GVP accelerator has an onboard SCSI-controller (connector to the upper right on the image). /Patrik |
Matt_H Posts:6411 | June 16, 2006, 07:13:09 AM I see a 2091 SCSI controller and a GVP 030 accelerator. Excellent system to get started with. If you haven't been pointed to it yet, look up your cards here. |
