BB3 & BB4 - What do I REALLY need in there?

I hope the OP does not mind me asking, is WB 1.3 worth modifying or should I upgrade to 2.x or 3.x?
Is WB 1.3 able to have themes and back drops like the later OSes?

Sure, but you'll have to run a dozen or so additional hacks and patches just to duplicate what 3.x already has built-in. Hence, the reason why people upgrade to newer OS's.

I haven't bothered with BB3 & 4 either. I think there's a patch in there that speeds up icon display times but life's too short to hack it beyond BB2 IMHO.

If you only install one upgrade beyond the base BB2, make sure it's the fabulous Peter K. Icon.library.
