Getting sort of back on topic, I just did it again. I've been listening to "Hybrid - Remix and Additional Production By" all day long

Repetetive Listening Injury?

Going through the Brian Transeau collection at the mo, there's  half a day's worth at least...

The CD's survived the Crayola felt tip then I see. ;-)

Actually that was just the existing stuff ;-)

When the jukebox server where you work has some 1200 GB of music, it's rarely a coincidence ;-)

:-o

What bitrate?

I tend to think I have a lot at ~100GB.

It varies. There are also a lot of duplicates. I estimate only 800~900 GB is distinct. I feel the strange urge to buy a few external 400GB USB2 hard drives ;-)

RLI of today: Orbital - The Middle Of Nowhere - Way Out

Strange, I don't recall liking this track originally...

I heartily recommend "Dreaming Your Dreams" by Hybrid off the Wide Angle album.

Proper filthy dirty breaks and bass ;-)

Curiously enough, that happened to be the RSI tune for today. The opening first few minutes are especially nice :-D

Today, I've mostly been listening to "Monk & Canatella: Enter The Monk - Hybrid Remix"

Definately going through a Hybrid phase at the moment.

Seems I was coding away in my own little world most of the day to Aphex Twin's "Meltphace 6". Now, all I can remember of the day is that tune, which is presently stuck on infinite loop entirely in my head

Just having the same experience again, this time with Royksopp's two remixes of Steve Reich's "Electric Counterpoint Part III: Fast"

For those unfamiliar with the third part of Electric Counterpoint, it's where the guitar sample in The Orb's "Little Fluffy Clouds" came from.

Achievement unlocked: Thread necromancer.
