She'll do okay for soft melodies but I reckon she lacks the 'power' for that song. I don't know how else to describe it, because I know diddly about music terms.

No, I don't like her voice. Her voice doesn't have raw power like Whitney Houston, it's always subdued. She resorts to tremolo far too often (that's a slight 'wobble' in the tone), and the breathiness is grating in the extreme: she's a woman, dagnabbit. Women don't excel at low notes. These things should be added flourishes, not something you start out with and then work from there. She does have a melodious voice, but it needs proper training.
Some people say that cats are sneaky, evil and cruel. True, and they have many other fine qualities as well.

Pure crap. Enforced emotion.
Her voice doesn't need training, her soul does, if she has one.
The world has very much great talents, though the majority lives in third world countries, where people ARE the music.

Still the best performer ever on X-Factor.

No wonder she won.

Which one? There are links to eight different songs.

(Sorry, should have pointed that out in my first post)

I wouldn't call singing a song that has personal emotional value attatched to it because it is the "special" song one shared with one's dead cousin "enforced emotion".

Yeah right. Every cliche imaginable comes out of her mouth but because she has a dead family member (and who hasn't lost someone dear) it's suddenly very personal.

I am not a 'queen', nor am I bitter. What makes you think I am? :-?

When I am negative about something, doesn't mean I'm bitter.
