This is yours? Not really my thing, but kudos to you for getting something finished and published. My tracks almost never get finished.

What did you make the music with (instruments, sequencers, etc)?

It wouldn't be fair for me to comment on the music since it is not to my taste, though you seem to have captured the style quite well. If I may offer some constructive criticism, the sounds you have chosen sound a bit "midi"-ish, which I don't think works very well in this style of music. You may want to invest in some software which will better approximate the instruments you are composing for.

Yeah, I also felt it was both a bit General Midi'ish, and also a bit tight.

I started out with a GM sound module + a Juno106 and Miggy samples. It can be pretty tough pulling rich sounds from GM.

I think the music could benefit from looser, more natural timing, and probably a bit more harmonisation in melodies. Harmonies can help to add richness, and character, which may not be present from single tone sounds. Chord progressions, rather than single tone melodies, and harmonic cadences, can both give a lot of character.

Hope this isn't more feedback than you were looking for.

Thanks guys for the valuable feedback.
I actually expected that from the amiga community.

I understand the chord vs tone thing.

I use a Korg Triton Limited edition (music workstation)
Which use midi.
It is much cheaper than the original Triton,
but still cost about 2000 USD (10000 NOK)

I dont really want to invest anymore
unless my current work pays off.

It is fun tho and that is most important for me.

Hmm, sorry, that was a bit vague. I should say, the style of music you are doing is pretty different from anything I have done, but I think the relaxed calypso sort of feeling is well achieved with a swing rhythm. I thought it may feel better with more of a syncopated, swaying timing. Maybe I'm offering too much of my own opinion here.
