I've just finished listening to the Kaiser Chiefs new album, "Yours Truly, Angry Mob". Overall I like it but it didn't grab me the way "Employment" did. Perhaps it's a grower. Highlights for me include "The Angry Mob", "Highroyds", "I Can Do It Without You" and "Try Your Best".
Anyone else heard it yet?

I liked the first Kaiser Chiefs album... but it was nowhere near innovative enough for me to want to buy it. I've not been impressed with what I've heard so far... no real progression, just more of the same.

I agree somewhat. Musically the album is very similar to Employment (not a problem for me because I loved it). But lyrically it is quite different, and less introspective than Employment. I've listened to the album a few times already today and it's grown on me already.

I think they're fashionable wank.

Why do you think that?

What's wrong with 'more of the same' ?
If you liked it before why don't you like it now? OK, hearing the same old stuff over and over can get boring, but it's not like they're churning out a zillion identical albums like Status Quo.

Fashionable because they are, and worthy of note because they're annoyingly so (IMO of course.) They're one of those names that everyone who has no real idea about indie music drops. It reminds me of my dad and how he reckons "the Americans have tried, but the UK still has the best indie bands" which is (sadly for me, stuck on this fair isle) really only true if you hear about your favourite new bands during the break on Coronation Street. We really need another grunge to remind people that five snappy dressers does not make a band. (Mark Hollis, on the other hand, genuis... Looked like an utter goofball.)
Wank because I don't reckon they're up to much, and produced possibly the most annoying single of the last couple of years.
Edit: Yes, worse than Crazy Frog.
