I forget the guys name, but I met one guy when he bought a monitor off me. Haven't seen him post in a long time though.

That would be me :)

Still rocking my A2000, but going back to school has put a kink in my parts acquisition as of late.

Of course, these days it could be our wasteland hero rocking a nice (slightly bullet ridden) pre-used set of enclave armor :D

Too late, I already queued up two headshots in VATS. Capped at level 30 with 100 energy weapons skill, sniper perk and the gauss rifle equipped, I don't fancy your chances

First shot resulted in most of the damage points being used in a knock down (a particularly common event with the gauss rifle), second shot non-critical. You were lucky.

/me tosses over a couple of stimpaks. Let that be a lesson to you about your apparel in the wasteland :D

^ though to be honest, the stealth armour, dart gun and shishkebab are my primary weapons. What you can't see and can't hear, you can't prepare for. Sneak criticals FTW :D

Paralyze, then burn/chop/crit them to death?!  that's...eeeevil!

I usually went for the stealth armor/gauss or alien blaster with an energy skill of 100... although I did play a game through with big guns just so I could see how much damage a fat man would do with max big guns and fully repaired.  Let's just say don't fire it indoors!

You should try the FatMan Ultra mod, which comes with a "Fat Man Extreme". Since completing the game (three times) I installed some of these frivolous things. The only way to survive firing the Fat Man Extreme is to do it over a hill so that it shields you when it detonates. Things tend to go cloudy for a while, since it basically uses the same model that detonating the bomb in Megaton uses.

Skip forwards to about 8:20...

If you haven't installed them, you simply must try out Fellout, BasicNeeds+Bottles and DC interiors. Also recommend Arefu Expanded, but it is a bit buggy. Enhanced Weather is also a nice mod with passing storms and even snow in the winter months, though this does go against the Fallout canon of a perpetual "Nuclear summer"...

I met AmigaEd when I sold him my a1200 and nec3d multisync. He lives in Pennsylvania IIRC and we met close to the NY/PA border.
Oh yeah?!?
Well your stupid bit is set,

Let's see, so far I've met:

Fester
MarcFrick2112
Nubbins
Timbaahb

...and I *think* that's it. If you've met me and I cannot remember, must have been too many beers ago  :pint:

Have NOT met Kvasir yet. He moved to the same town I live in and I think the 4th Ward (shady part of town) ate him up. Haven't heard from him in a coons age!

Everyone's been great and there's a good handful I've "met" online that are spread out across the globe I *feel* I know, from conversations, et al. Lot's of common denominators in this hobby to be sure.

I've met SACC-guy when I managed to drive up to Sacramento from Oakland to try and attend their user meetings with my malfunctioning A1200. Got there at the end of the meeting, and they looked it over, though couldn't fix it.
Amiga 3000D UP and running! Hear that clicking. 8)
Amiga 3000D & 4000D in storage sadly.

I've met so many people from here and the other forums that I couldn't possibly remember all their online handles, which is a shame :-(

Recently I've not met up with anyone since Bletchly park.

Out of interest do the curry night things still happen? I guess it'd only be an hour or so train ride for myself to attend.
Yours
Darren aka Ryu
