I purchased this the other day. Thankfully work has a nice fat connection so I downloaded it to my laptop so I can take it home.

I also bought the first two as well. I like it because I can play them on my Linux box but also on either Windows or Mac if needed since one purchase allows you to use it on all three OS's. Also, some of the previous games in the Humble Bundles have been ported to the Amiga so I have the data files to play some of the games on my Sam440 as well :)

Downloads are just about done (not bothering with Mac versions)
Looking at some youtube clips of Shadowgrounds..  Nice..
Has a real Alien Breed (NOT 3D) feel to it..  Looks like fun.

yeah, its very much a modern alien breed. The cut scenes and dialogue are a bit weak, but the gameplay is really fun.
Survivor is probably the better of the two, with more features and some nice levels, but the first one is absolutely worth playing.

D'oh!
None of my computers have graphics cards modern enough to run Shadowgrounds..
The Laptop is the newest, but they support very few "Integrated" laptop cards.
And my Linux box's Video Card is too old.
I am able to play Prey on it (it is sluggish at times)..  ;-)

Oh well, still supporting Linux programs, even if I can't use them...

I am able to play Trine (at least on OnLive on the laptop), so it wasn't a total loss..

:-)

Hm. I have a G100 which is pretty shite, but it will run shadowgrounds, if not terribly well.
I guess integrated laptop cards are bad news

I wish more games allowed you to access them across several formats after purchase.

I have an xbox 360, use Linux as my main OS and have a Windows install for games. I hate having to decide whether to get a game for the PC which, in my opinion, usually has better controls & graphics. Or for the Xbox where the game becomes more accessible by the family and I get to remain visible and prove I'm alive. I'd gladly pay a few pounds more to get a cross format license.

The previous Humble Bundles have helped reduce time spent on the Windows box and prove that modern gaming is possible on sellable on Linux too :)

OK, I thought my desktop Linux box had an MX card that wasn't compatible..
But, I remembered that I had been given another card at some time by someone upgrading.  So, I have an FX5500...
So, I was able to play Shadowgrounds...
Sorta..  ;-)

At low detail with low resolution, it's playable, right up to the point that some bad guys show up, then it can't keep up..

So, it's great for walking around and even shooting boxes..
:-)

Considering when I bought this computer, I'm impressed.. ;-)

Haven't tried Trine on it yet..
