The Settlers in NTSC
« on: July 22, 2023, 03:52:14 PM »
Trying to play The Settlers WHDLoad on my NTSC Amiga 2000. Kept getting a black screen but can hear the intro music. I noticed that if I boot it from floppy and change to PAL through the boot menu that it will load fine. So the issue is with NTSC mode. Is there something I can get this to run in NTSC? The manual specifically talks about NTSC mode so I’m sure it should be possible.

I am also able to recreate this in WinUAE.  No matter what settings I give it, if I select NTSC the game will not show.  Just intro audio.

What about the game itself?
Click mouse to  exit the intro, maybe the game does work?
