understading Colanto

hey guys i open up 3.x OS in colanto. my hdd are mounted - if that means i can browse them in the GUI initial window. but, when i open up a game i get "unable to load WHDLoad"

and, when i click on the readme for that game i get "unable to load PPmore"

any help people?

Did you install WHDLoad?

well thats kind of what i thought. however, on this guide it was said that WHBLoad would already be there. obviously not. do you know where i can get this? and PPMore too - but not as important.

i think that ppmore is cloanto's prog so try to find it from them or somewhere in the cd or from aminet cloanto

PPMore has nothing to do with PPaint.  It's basically "More" (the once popular text viewer) for PowerPacker compressed text files.  I used to always have PPatcher running in the background so that ALL powerpacked data files would decompress transparently and I wouldn't have to worry about using something like PPMore.

i know what is and what does ppmore, thanx :-) there is ppanim and ppview too. as for PPatcher i don't see the need to always running a patch that i will use once every year if so...

ok, so i dloaded SKICK345.lha and extracted that. now, all the roms are in the needed folder. but, OS 3.x still brings up the error OBJECT NOT FOUND "KICK40068.a4000". now, i do have

KICK40068.a4000.rtb
and
KICK40068.4000.pat

but what do i do? thanks

if you have bought an original ''amiga for ever'' cd/dvd the files are there. but if you don't have in mind that is ilegal to use amiga roms or amiga os without proper licence or if you don't have a real amiga.
