motrucker just turned me onto this thread. I currently go to a monthly Anne Arundel computer meeting for vintage computer systems. If it is not too far. I wouldn't mind meeting up with you all to do one strictly for Amigas. I could bring my A1200 (which is the only one I got now).

However, there is some distance there. Even the Anne Arundel meeting is a little bit of a drive for me.

Yes, and no.  I've been up in the NoVa area (specifically up in Ashburn near Dulles International) for about 5 years now, but no, I haven't owned or played with Amigas for years.

Ha!  You're more in my neck of the woods - I'm in Gainesville/Manassas area now, but pass by Dulles every couple weeks or so.  Love the Udvar-Hazy museum.  :)

We gotta get all these Maryland folks down here for a change, one of these days.  ;)

Is there still any interest in this group? I would love to attend, but cannot drive right now. If any one could give me a ride I could bring a pristine A1000 along.

We've talked about this several times, and if we'd like to have a meeting, I'm definitely interested.

I've got a tentative general-vintage-computer event scheduled for (possibly) 9/29 or 9/30, and again on 11/10 or 11/11, in Hunt Valley, MD.  I might we be able to pick you up, on the way, as I would be coming from Frederick.

Is anyone else interested?

We’ve settled on the November 10th/11th weekend, as the facility wasn’t available at the end of September.

Please let me know if Saturday or Sunday is better.

Thanks!

Did this meeting happen?
As luck would have it, I was stuck in our local hospital. I'll have to get a laptop so I can stay in touch.
