There's something in /hard/hack in Aminet that will let you connect a PC joystick to an Amiga - but it will only function as analogue.

For analog types an adapter is needed. Iv'e been using an old quickshot for years, "since my A500 days". for digital, some are still available from software hut, had to replace mine a while back, a must for older games.

I made sure I had a healthy stock of TAC 2:s when they were
still available. I have also bought some used ones over the
years and repaired what I could as time passed by. There is
no better joystick than a black or white TAC 2 with iron shaft
(the last batches had plastic shafts).
But they are slowly staring to fail on me, one by one. The
damn things simply weren't built for ten years of gaming ... ;-)

The greek sticks were the best. They just couldn't be damaged no matter how hardly  you treated them.  Recomended for playing kick off.

I don't know if they still make them (for PCs).

The greek joystick was called Pac Man and later renamed as Tomahawk. I've got 3.

Sorry, not for sale :-)

1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else
