Amiga / CDDA audio mixer

Does anyone know if /  where I can buy an Amiga / CDDA audio mixer? I've looked, but they appear not to exist any more.

I have one, but it appears it's broken as I only get audio from one output now.

I suppose the one I have could be fixed if necessary, but it looks fiddly and I'd rather buy new.

I keep meaning to pick up an ART MacroMIX Personal Mixer as they're very popular but kind of pricey....

Yes, I had seen that kind of thing when I've been searching, but it's not really what I had in mind.

What I have is a lot simpler. Phono leads that plug into the Amiga outputs, a lead that ends in the CDDA plug to go straight into the back of an optical drive and two phono out ports, all attached to a metal plate. It was sold by Eyetech back in the day. I'm sure they actually used to manufacture them as it's effective, but simple (and ugly!).

I suspect I might have to take it out and try to fix it.

I've got a small card with a slot bracket laying around with a passive mixing circuit like this, or something similar.

There is no amplification, but it will do its job and is easy to build.

The Eyetech thingy had pots to adjust the sound level difference which exists between Amiga and CD audio.

I looked and looked for exactly what you are looking for for my Checkmate case but never had any luck. I know they used to make such a device as it's still listed on Amigakit's website but hasn't been in stock for a long time.

You could possibly post on Amibay what you are looking for and someone may be willing to part with theirs.

I ended up just making a custom cable to run from my DVD drive to the back of my case and used this mixer to mix them together.

Yep, that's exactly the one I have. I think I'll take it out and see if I can fix it first. It'll be fun  - hot glued into my tower!

Finally removed and had a look at the Eyetech adapter. One of the potentiometers had come slightly apart, so I clicked it back together. Whether that might have had any bearing on the situation, I don't know.

The adapter has two CDDA leads built in and used to work fine connected to two optical drives. Now if I connect one drive all is well, but if I connect both then I lose the vast majority of the audio from the left channel. 

I don't suppose it's a huge problem - I'll leave one CDDA cable unplugged and  I'll just have to remember to run games / other things that need CD audio as well as Amiga audio from the optical drive that the adaptor is plugged into.
