Amiga 4000 power supply ATX conversion
« on: July 20, 2017, 03:08:11 AM »
I need to swap out the guts of my A4000D's power supply with that of an ATX power supply.  However, the few ATX supplies I have on hand are apparently too wide to fit inside of the existing PSU's shell.  I already have an Amiga Big Box to ATX power converter on the way from Ian Stedman, which I also want to fit inside the existing PSU shell.  Is there a better form factor PSU that I can rob the guts from to put inside the original PSU shell?

Thanks,

Kirk

I don't know about robbing the guts, but I've used uATX power supplies with good results.
