Wasn´t the old Xsurf 10 Mbit and the new one "20 MBit transfer rate (full duplex, twisted-pair only)" :-?

Yep...all the ports are there but only 1 IDE socket on the 3. Pictures wouldn't look much different than a X-surf 2. :-D

I have the original X-Surf, and to the best of my knowledge,
it supports 10mbit Full-Duplex (supposedly fixed in a later
driver release).

Yes, I will agree to statement. I remember when I first saw
my X-Surf card after ordering it. I was not impressed, but
it works and works well. As they say, you can't judge a book
by its cover.
