Title: "Canadian" accellerator on a "UK" A1200???
Post by: MarkAshley on October 03, 2005, 09:41:02 AM
I am thinking of buying a Blizzard 1260 68060 50mhz with 16meg RAM from a guy in Canada. Can I safely assume it will be fully compatible with my PAL A1200? I know the 1260 is nothing to do with graphics but I didn't know if there are any significant differences between the PAL and NTSC motherboards that would stop the 1260 from working.

the 1260 has nothing to do with pal/ntsc.... accelerators, scandoublers, etc are universal devices.... there will be no prob 100000000% to use it on your machine.

Yes that's the one Effy - don't tell me you're bidding too :) And thanks keropi, good to know it'll work.

I was a bit confused by the "DOA guaranteed" bit, but I'm guessing he means it's guaranteed against being DOA. At least I hope so...
