bloodline Posts:12113 | November 16, 2004, 06:35:57 PM If you run your iPAQ (you have the same one as me:-D Nice eh?!?), next to a real A500 they run at the same speed :-) (Graphics operations on the Ipaq are a littler slower but CPU operations are a little faster, so oddly tasks take the same amount of time) |
Ilwrath Posts:2199 | November 16, 2004, 04:15:53 PM Code: [Select] About the same speed as an A500 (with a 1 frame, frame skip), but the sound is a bit choppy On my iPaq 4155, I'd say it's about 1/2 to 2/3 speed of an A500 at 1 frameskip. (or maybe I'm remembering my A500 faster than it was... I've been using an A1200 w/ fast RAM as my baseline Amiga for quite a few years.) And yes, the sound is choppy (at best). And the keyboard isn't emulated yet. It's quite cool, though, and works for most OS1.3 things I've thrown at it. (DPaint III, Lemmings, and a few others) Currently my default is to play a good old fashioned game of "Nuclear War." "Hug me with your nuclear arms!" |
