Which person to contact about Aminet
« on: November 07, 2014, 03:14:15 AM »
There are a lot of pics and blogs on Aminet which are annoying when I am searching for files. Would it be possible to move those to a separate section.
e.g. One section for files. One section for pics and blogs.

It's aminet@aminet.net

I never noticed any blogs on there though...and pictures have their own directory, so are pretty easy to filter out.

What are you searching for that these type of things come up?  Never had that problem either, my .02 cents.  The occasional random picture I do stumble across on there... eh, might make good wallpaper?  I dunno.  ;)

Standard search is just a quick search through all file and path names aswell as short descriptions.

If that approach yields too many results, you can use advanced search (click on "Search" in the main menu, then "Advanced Search"), which lets you specify a lot of criteria for your search - amongst other things, you can limit your search to specific directories (hint: use Control+mouse button to select multiple directories, or Shift+mouse button to select ranges of directories).
