#Amiga.Org IRC Web Interface Down Temporarily

Hello,

When you click on Web Interface over on the left, it uses my web server to bring up the web interface for the #Amiga.Org IRC Channel.

I'm restructuring and renaming my business, so for possibly a week or two, this site will be down.

Rest assured, there will be a new URL soon and I will post it here just as soon as it's available.

Thanks for the heads-up.

For what it's worth, people who have Java can use this link as a temporary solution, or just learn how to use a proper IRC client  :-P

No probs, you and zudo are the only guys I ever see that are advertising #amiga.org in their posts, so it helps if the adverts are up to date ;-)

God yeah,

Mirc is rubbish, but is somehow the main PC IRC application. I appriciate that in the early days it had no competition, but these days theres plenty of alternatives, so it's continued hold on the market is somewhat bizarre.

Like the forthcomming (Real soon now(tm) - well after I've finished moving and been on holiday :-D) OrgIRC, a specially developed basic IRC client for exclusively #amiga.org!!!

Oh yeah, almost forgot about that.
It will be nice once i get rid of my current adsl connection (i have to use MiamiDX atm, unregistered :-| ) and get Genesis and OrcIRC set up for that good, clean, uninterrupted #Amiga.org experience  :-D
(That is, assuming OrcIRC doesn't time out too, of course  ;-) )

It's *ORG*IRC, as in amiga.ORG, not OrcIRC.  Just for getting it's name I'll make sure wrong your copy will time out :-p

I've put the Web Interface back up temporarily!

The *temporary* URL is: http://imagebbs.hostingmountain.com/cgi-bin/cgiirc/irc.cgi

Unfortunately, it will change again, but probably not go down next time, just change immediately.
