How does an A4000 do 128MB on the motherboard?  I thought the max an A4000 could have was 16MB on the motherboard.   Perhaps he means 128MB on the 060 accelerator.

It's a scam, someone has cracked that guys ebay account and 're-listed' one of his or another's auction.  The email me at 'whatever@free_email.com' with the a buy now listed (or phone #) in the auction is the giveaway and it's an old scam. Be wary...

Yes, this seller is avoiding a "Reserve" fee, plus is side stepping the "Buy it now" fee.  Going to manual terminate the listing when the $1800 has been met.  eBay would like to know about this sellers listing description and terms a bit more.

You should always look for feedback scores and number of positive feedback responses.

But even then, sometimes crap like this pops up.

At least if its a scam, Ebay and Paypal buyer protection will cover the buyer against fraud.

Here's one of the things that annoys me about certain eBay sellers:

No cracks, dents, chips, etc.  Being sold as-is.  Includes a power cord.

The thing has a power cord.  He shows a picture of it with a power cord.  How much effort does it take to plug it into a socket and flip the on/off switch?  He knows exactly what the functionality of it is, because if it did power up then he'd have taken a picture of the screen.

Having a power cord is a big plus for selling vintage computers.

Are the power cords something very R@Re for the vintage collectors? If yes, I will list my basement full with power cords of all genres, including Pravetz power cords.
